Matrifen® is a new fentanyl-containing transdermal patch that uses advanced matrix technology to deliver efficient, reliable pain relief.
The Matrifen® indication is severe chronic pain which can be adequately managed only with opioid analgesics.

Matrifen® is equipped with features to ensure that the safety is optimized and that the use is as easy as possible.
Matrifen® has a full range of strengths, from 12µg/h to 100µg/h, which makes it easy to titrate and treat with a lower dose. Matrifen® also has a lower drug load and drug residual in patch after use in comparison with other matrix based fentanyl patches (ref. SmPC’s of approved fentanyl matrix patches in Germany).
