About Nycomed
Nycomed is a young company with a long history. Founded in 1874 in Norway by Morten Nyegaard, the company gradually began to expand into Europe, forming a strong position initially in the Nordic countries.
The modern story really begins in 1999, when Nycomed was established as a European company with a focus on sourcing and developing new pharmaceutical products. With this in place, the pace of this market expansion increased and the company now operates throughout Europe.
