Postherpetic neuralgia pain can be relieved with Matrifen®

Matrifen® from Nycomed relieves the pain of postherpetic neuralgia and has fewer adverse effects than other similar products.

Matrifen® is beneficial for patients with postherpetic neuralgia, hypoventilation, cognitive impairment, peripheral diabetic neuropathy, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and cancer pain and is approximately 50 to 100 times as potent as morphine.

It has fewer adverse effects compared to morphine tablets and other oral formulations of opiod analgesics and is approximately 50 to 100 times as potent as morphine.
